-To Vick it does. That's his livelihood. The #1 thing they want is for his livelihood taken away. So it has everything to do with football.

-I think the poster was implying that conservatives are more patriotic than liberals and thus are more interested in such things related to the history of this country.

-From what I've seen so far out of PETA and the likes of those types I think what you said there is highly debatable.

-I didn't make it anything. I'm simply listening to all sides. I have some good friends who happen to be black and some of them genuinely think there is a racial undertone in this whole thing. For instance, over 95 percent of those who showed up to protest Vick at his indictment hearing were white(Richmond is a predominantly african american city). The Atlanta Journal Constitution has done various polls which would indicate the same sort of thing. If you want restrict things to fit into a little box of what you want them to be then that's your call pal.

I love dogs, I really do. I think they are the friendliest creatures God put on this planet. And I think it is just dispicable for someone to treat these animals like this.

That's what you got out of it, not what I put into it. There are good-ole boy rednecks who wouldn't hurt a fly and don't really care one way or the other about what makes someone different from them...then there's the blowhard rednecks that are bigots from the start and their COMMON SENSE is right no matter how wrong it actually is.

Sorry I'm not crying for him...he has been a piece of trash the last couple of years...I guess whe he was flippin people off at the game last year it was just the whites trying to take his career away from him??? I hate to say it, but this is what is wrong with America today...Whites never stick up for each other, Blacks stick up for each other even if they are strangers....

Don't believe me??? Walk in a bar and start a fight with a guy with your opposite race, watch 85% of the blacks jump in for the Black guy, while the whites in the bar stand around and say "man they're whippin his ass"

There you go. That says it all. The man hasn't even been to trial yet but you've already made your decision as to whether he is guilty or not. That's the whole problem I was alluding to. Also, he may not be a good passer(yet) but he is still an effective quarterback.
